Loom lists a 25-year warranty on its Mono PERC Shark modules and on the small panels, and a 30-year warranty on the N-type TOPCon and HJT Shark modules. Two things stand out. The Mono PERC price is in line with the ₹17 to ₹19 a watt that Waaree trades at through installers. The retail TOPCon price, at about ₹25 a watt, is above the ₹19 to ₹22 that installers pay for Waaree TOPCon, and the HJT price per watt only falls to the PERC level when you buy 31 at once.

Those are module prices. A rooftop system is the modules plus structure, inverter, wiring, earthing, net metering and labour, and modules are roughly half of the total. Buying the panels yourself and hiring the rest separately does not remove the other half; it moves the responsibility for it to you. The ₹78,000 PM Surya Ghar subsidy requires the modules on your bill of materials to be on MNRE's ALMM List-I and DCR compliant, and it requires the system to be installed by a registered vendor. Check the exact Shark model number against the current ALMM list before applying, because the list is model-specific and updated regularly, and a module bought online outside a registered vendor's installation can complicate the application regardless of the module's own status.
