This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what you can require us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

• Contact details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, and the area or address of the site.
• Project information: electricity bill details, consumer number, sanctioned load, units consumed, roof photographs and measurements taken at survey.
• Documents for subsidy applications where you ask us to file for you: identity proof, property ownership proof and bank account details, as required by the National Portal.
• Correspondence: emails, WhatsApp messages and notes of calls, so that a service history exists.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page, collected by analytics.

Directly from you: the enquiry forms on this site, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, email, and the site survey. From your documents, where you send them for a subsidy or net metering application. Automatically, through cookies and analytics, when you browse the site.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not take enquiries from lead-selling aggregators.

• To respond to your enquiry, size a system and issue a quotation — on the basis of your consent, given when you contact us.
• To carry out a contracted project: design, installation, commissioning and service.
• To file the PM Surya Ghar and TANGEDCO net metering applications, where you have asked us to.
• To honour warranties, which requires us to keep component serial numbers linked to your site.
• To meet legal, tax and statutory record-keeping obligations.
• To understand which pages of this site are useful, in aggregate.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing. We do not add enquiry numbers to bulk SMS or WhatsApp broadcast lists.

• Government portals and the distribution licensee — the PM Surya Ghar National Portal and TANGEDCO — where required to make an application you have asked us to file.
• Manufacturers and their service partners, where a warranty claim requires the site details and serial numbers.
• Our own installation and service team, who need the address and site details to do the work.
• Professional advisers and statutory authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with other solar companies, financiers or brokers. If you have received a call from another installer after contacting us, it did not come from us.

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages are read and where visitors arrive from. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, apart from remembering preferences you have set.

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Project records, commissioning reports and component serial numbers: for the life of the system plus warranty period, because a warranty claim in year eight needs them.
• Subsidy application documents: for the period required by the scheme and by tax law.
• Accounting records: as required by Indian tax law.

Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do the work. Documents supporting subsidy applications are stored securely and shared only with the portal they were collected for. We ask you to send sensitive documents directly to us rather than through third-party services.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold, and why.
• Ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data.
• Ask us to erase data we no longer need for a stated purpose or a legal obligation.
• Withdraw consent for future processing — though this may mean we cannot continue an application or a service obligation.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board if unresolved.

Our services are directed at property owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child’s data has been provided to us, tell us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown above. Where a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
